But seriously, this is the most personality I have ever seen in a baby this age.  Usually, by now, they have just figured out how to aimlessly flail their arms and legs. My daughter included.  But this guy can interact with you, communicate with you and tell you exactly what he's thinking...well, almost.  :)

Dallas holiday pictures are here!!!

Lots of you have been asking about our Holiday Quick Pics dates (thanks to all of you for the polite nudges to get these dates announced :)) so here they are. We have two dates set for this year’s sessions including a 30 minute photo shoot, online proofing gallery and one set of 25 holiday cards (we have fun new card styles) for $150 +tax. 

Dates:
- Friday, October 10: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Saturday, October 18: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

*We’re also working on a new cool location for this year’s sessions- we've moved to Dallas so it will be near downtown Dallas this time around.  Possibly one urban location and one park.  Stay tuned while we find the *perfect* spots!

Happy Labor Day!

Hey...I hope nobody is reading this and everyone is doing something really fun and exciting instead.  :)  Its a long weekend and you should be out ENJOYING it.  Especially since I can't... 

I finally closed on the new house Thursday so the last two days have been spent packing.  Tomorrow is the big move day, so I wish I could fast forward the next 48 hours.  Hopefully it will go by fast.  :)  Anyway, we will be pretty much shut down until Tuesday.  You can certainly call or email me, but if I don't return your call before Tuesday, it's nothing personal! 

That said, the new casa will not have internet connectivity until Sept 8th!!!  I will be going through some major web withdrawals.  I'm now officially out of my office in Plano so I don't have that either.  The next week for me is going to be a major adjustment period.  But everything will be settled down just in time to prepare for Holiday sessions!  More info on those to come!  :)

Now, some pics!  Last weekend my friend/associate/ex-neighbor Nikki, her husband and two kiddos came for a short visit and I took some impromptu pics of 4 year old Grace enjoying a breakfast of Apple Jacks..with no milk in the bowl, of course!  Here is the little ham...

So, I've been busy.  I feel like I'm getting a whole new life very soon... and I'm preparing.  New house, new studio, new school for the kiddo, new city, new blog, new website...  yes, a new website AND blog are coming soon.  The blog customization has been in the works for some time and I think the blog guy is getting closer.  The new website will probably be launched about the same time... and I would be soooo much more excited if I wasn't so tired from all the house negotiations.  Blah, blah, blah.

I do have some new photos to post from last weekend so I'll be back.  As soon as I get the kitchen packed.  :)

I thought I'd share this funny bit of email dialogue from one of my clients.  We were discussing photo shoot ideas for their upcoming 6th photo shoot with me for the little one's 2 year old session. 
*oh, and this conversation is in reverse...

me:  "Hahaha!!  Too funny.  I love you guys!"

mommy:  "This is your chuckle for the day…see below Jeffrey’s response on your idea for the photo shoot…. :)  He cracks me up…and he’s so right…we need to just “get out of your way” and let you work your creative magic…. :) "

daddy: "she can take a few photos of him with some of his toys in whatever setting - we should learn from our past dealings with her... just get out of the way... "
